  • What Is Hail or Storm Damage?

    Hail damage is not always visible from the ground, but it is nothing to be taken lightly. Insurance companies cover hail related damages because it puts you, the homeowner, at risk for future leaks causing more damage to the interior of your home.

    Wind damage is usually easier for a homeowner to notice due to either missing or flipped up shingles. However, wind damage is not always visible from the ground either. Many times wind will lift and crease the shingles, or, pull the shingles through the fasteners and then set back down into place.

    Insurance companies cover wind-related damages due to the shingles being damaged from creasing, being pulled through the fasteners, no longer being able to seal properly and/or the shingles missing and exposing your home to potential leaks.
